A Very Happy Anniversary Indeed

Dennis surprised me for our anniversary celebration! We left at 7:45am and I didn't know where we were going. After a brief stop at Tim Horton's for coffee (decaf, of course!) and a muffin and donuts, we headed off down the road. We ended up at the Toronto Zoo! It was such a fun day, and I thoroughly enjoyed being toddler free- especially when I noticed that it was "Toddle for Tots" day at the zoo and there were millions of babies and strollers. It was so nice to just be able to walk through doors and up steps and not have to worry if the crying child was mine or not! :) Very nice. A friend remarked to us that it should have been called "Tots and Tantrums" day.

For supper we went to our favorite restaurant, Mongolian Grill. We found this restaurant when we lived in Kitchener and up until now had to go back there to enjoy it. Recently we discovered one as close as Whitby (or around there). WHOO HOOO!!!

After eating, we went to Chapters and quietly browsed the books (baseball for Dennis and baby name books for me). Again, it was so nice to not have a baby in a stroller to worry about! :)

The last thing we did was go to the newest Star Wars movie in the theater. You may laugh, because it did come out so long ago, but we missed it in all of our travels this summer. So Dennis did his research and found one theater that was still playing the movie.

What a great day- full of surprises! I love my husband.
