We actually had her party this evening. What a beautiful day it was! She was allowed to have three friends for her party plus their parents. :)
I wasn't really up to doing my usual cake, streamers, balloons type shin-dig so we had "dirt cake" instead and spent the evening playing outside.
God provided the decorations in the newly greening grass, singing birds and streaming sunlight, so I didn't have to worry about that. :)

Wow Valerie, I am impressed. That was quite a party for Squeeky. It looks like she had a lot of fun and some new things. Is that fellow on Dennis' shoulders, Liam? Those pots of "dirt and worms" were really cute. Susie Q.looks much older than a week. i missinformed you concerning A. Jean's B.D. It is and always has been Apr. 23. I just thought Apr. 23 was today. I went to that class on dementia and thought I passed pretty well, but now I'm not so sure. Love, Mom

Happy birthday to Squeaky- very belated. Val, you are doing great to get a birthday party organized for Squeaky so soon after the birth of "Susie Q" is that her blog name? Interesting- that was the name of my first doll - and also the last baby doll I got just the Christmas before U. John was born I called Susie. (I still have that one).
Dirt cake - is this a relative of Sakage Mud? Looks like it probably tasted pretty good.
Thanks for the birthday greetings.
Love, A. Jean
