In the meantime, enjoy the pics. Button enjoys her chocolate- a LOT.
This is Squeaky's newest drawing- fresh off the press today. She informed me that this is David and Goliath, and that Goliath is wearing a bow in his hair. See it? I think the other two circles on his head are ears. Do you think Goliath would have been offended if someone accused him of wearing a bow in his hair?

Just checking in! The wait continues...
It is encouraging to know we're waiting -- and trying to be patient -- together. :)
I all of a sudden decided that Button looks mostly like her Dad, at least with the chocolate mustache. I like Lael's David and Goliath. Ask her to draw Daniel in the lions' den. We are praying for you. Hope you get to have that little one soon. Maybe if you told us the names we could pray more specifically! Eccl. 3:1

That drawing is great!! I couldn't do any better than that and I'm being 100% honest!! ...waiting for the ring or vibration of my phone!!

Oh ya and I was thinking today about how nice it would be to have a cuddly hug from your chocolate lover!!

you look amazingly beautiful.
Well Mom, maybe shortly we'll get a baby that looks like me? I doubt it since I've seen the 3D ultrasound- he or she looked very much like Dennis even at 20 weeks gestation. :) I still think Button looks more like me than Squeaky ever did.
Bee- Button is as cuddly as ever! She hugged Dennis for about 10 minutes straight when he came home from work last night. So precious.
I see that you blogged on at 7:50 am. I take it that you weren't at the hospital. I have been out since about 7:40, mainly to take Dad to the Heart Health Impr. PA. We have a few more strategies to help him breathe easier in the evening. If labored breath counted, we would have had another baby a long time ago. Hope to hear from you soon. Love, Mom
Hi Val, I agree with your Mom that the chocolate beard & mustache on Button helpes her to look like her Daddy. She is a cute "puddin' face". I had a similar picture of a girl we know when she was about Button's age so when said girl got married I got a copy and sent it to her - she was quite delighted. ( I just noe thought that I should have made it into a card for her shower - too late)
I remember that a way back in 1953 (when I didn't know much about L & D) that there was going around in the family the idea that if we went over a certain large bump on the way to the meeting that the baby's arrival would be speeded up. The mother to be was your Grandma F. and the baby turned out to be U. John. Oh, by the way the big bump was on Crocker St. in Des Moines on the decent to Keo (now known as John M King Parkway). I doubt if the bump remains after all these years and DM,Ia is a long way for you to go to try out the theroy. Ha!
Love, A. Jean
