Umm, change is good...

Going through boxes has produced some interesting things:

Step One: Nerdy

Step Two: A little better

Step Three: Cooler than you can ever imagine (until our kids see pictures of us in 15 years and are horrified)

Third set is definitely best, until fifteen years from now, as you say.

Val, the expresion on your face and the hairdo did not give adequate support for the glasses you were modeling. As for the 15 year thing--who knows. Mom

The first ones...oh my! That is so hilarious. Love the third ones!! Now we want to see them with hair, make-up, the whole deal! (just you, not Dennis, with the make-up bit) :)

Awesome!
We both just got new glasses before we headed out west. Ron got those bendable frames! Hopefully they will last a little longer!

you two crack me up. thanks for the laugh. your first pair of glasses look like the pair I used to have when I was in 5th grade. BOY... those were the days of the thick, plastic ,big !! glasses. :)

Happy packing :)

Val, I wasn't quite sure who I was looking at in the first picture - well I can't even recall you wearing glasses - ever.

Do you have contacts or don't need lenses except for reading?

Give all those old glasses to the girls for dress-up stuff.

Love, A. Jean

A. Jean, I don't wear contacts- I mostly just wear the glasses for driving. :) I hardly wore those big ones at all- back then it was really hard for me to adjust to them (maybe because they were so big!!!), and I didn't drive either, so I didn't need them for that.

To everyone else, yes, the hairdo and lack of makeup is charming, is it not?
