We arrived here in Durham at the New Tribes Mission training centre on Wed. evening. Much to our surprise we were placed in a beautiful, nearly new, four bedroom apartment. We are so grateful for the extra room and especially for the running water (most of the first year apartments do not have running water).
The two older girls spent a few days with Dennis' parents and joined us here on Thursday. They are starting to get adjusted. Tonight we took a walk with them down to the two small lakes on the property.
We start our orientation for the training tomorrow at 9 am. Normally the classes will begin at 8am, so I guess they are having mercy on us the first day. :) Classes officially begin next Monday. We look forward to sharing what we learn with you!

So how did it go? Day one that is.
(Dennis, what was the name of that program you used to record your tapes again?)

Today went well... orientation and learning the history of NTM. This afternoon we had a walk around of the campus and orientation to the Practical Training Course.
Oh, that program is audiograbber.
