5-4-3-2-1 Countdown!

A quick update on the baby. I went to the doctor yesterday. She said I'm 2 cms and that everything is looking really good for a delivery soon (like in the next week or so), so that was encouraging. I feel really good this time compared to my last pregnancy. Each day I seem to muster up the energy to attend to that day's tasks... "As your days so shall your strength be..." pretty much sums it up. I crash into bed each night and get up out of it several times in the night to visit the white throne.

A monumental occasion this morning: I put a waterproof liner on my half of the bed in case my water breaks. The last two preganancies I did that at least a month in advance, but I found that I didn't really like the crinkling sound all night long that reminded me of diapers, so I did it at the last minute this time. Both times my water had to be broken at the hospital anyway, so it was pointless. But I don't want to ruin our bed!

This is your last chance to visit our Baby Pool blog or Facebook Pool and make your prediction! Deadline for that is tonight since now we are infringing upon others' guesses.

Here is a picture of the girls reading to keep you coming back to my blog. :) This was Sunday morning before we headed off to church. The girls often spend time together reading.

Good to see a new post - almost thought that the baby had arrived - except I konw that your Mom would have informed me if he or she had put in an appearance.

It looks like Squeaky & Button were already to go to church except for needing some footwear. It is good to see an interest in books-reading.

Wishing you all the best for a safe L&D sometime in the near future.

Love, A. Jean

Well, the little one missed my predicted day of arrival. Oh well. Lots of nice children are born on the 30th of a month ( at least both of mine were) so maybe it'll arrive tomorrow :)
I'm glad to hear you're having strength for each day. Looking forward to seeing you after the baby's arrival. Thanks for all the nice pics of the girls in the meantime.
love to all,
Patti
